I'm going to make a trip to GA. And hopefully will get to do so research on James O. Blair b. Abt. 1830 in Carroll Co. GA. and his father Allen Blair. They later lived in Coweta Co. GA. James and Allen fought in the Civil War. James died in Lauderdale, MS. in 1862. I would like to find some information about his death. I know they enlisted in the 41 Regiment Company G Georgia Volunteers. I sent for his Military record but it really didn't have much in it. Can anyone on the list tell me where the best places to go to find more information about Military records. Bobby
