I currently record the following information (in brief) about his seven children with second wife Jane Blair: 1. John, abt 1788 to 1855, married 1st to Mary Horton, 2nd to Hester Clark and 3rd to Susannah Garland. [It is possible that John might have been a son of the first marriage to Charlotte] 2. Mary, abt 1790, who married Michael H. Martin. 3. Nancy Rosetta, abt 1792 to 1846, who married George Kennedy 4. Margaret, 1794 to 12 Apr 1846, who married John Kennedy 5. Sevier, 10 Mar 1801 to 6 Dec 1882, who married Mary Blair. 6. Landon Carter, 1 Apr 1804 to 20 Mar 1876, who married Sarah Milburn. 7. Martha D., 1813 to abt 1885, who married James T. Shields Landon Carter was the father of Samuel K.
