Greetings, I'm researching my husband's BLAIR ancestors. According to a Missouri county history, Mary BLAIR, b. ca 1768 was of "the same family as General Frank Blair." She was married in Henry Co., VA. Nearby in Abingdon, Washington Co., VA, resided James BLAIR m. Elizabeth SMITH, the parents of Francis Preston Blair, Sr. James BLAIR later moved his family to Lexington, KY and he was the first Attorney General.
