Nancy Jane Blair was born abt. 1824 Richard B. Baker was born iabt.1818 Nancy Jane Blair married Richard B. Baker in Maury County, Tennessee. I found their names on a Maury County Tennessee Marriage list for the years 1808 - 1852. Their names were listed for December 14, 1839. According to the register the first date listed was a marriage bond or license date. The second date in Parenthesis was the date of Marriage. The date of marriage was missing. Apparently information was not turned in to be recorded or they were married in another county. Nancy Jane and Richard B. Baker are my Great, Great, Great Grandparents. The first census I find them in as a family listing children was 1850 in Macoupin County, Illinois. The first two of their 10 children were born in Tennessee in 1840 and 1843. The third child was born in Illinois in 1844. Their second born Richard F. Baker is my G.G grandfather.His son James Richard Baker is my great Grandfather. His son Jay Virgil Baker is my grandfather Nancy and Richard Baker are buried in Marion, Marion County, Kansas at Highland Cemetery.
