Hi Robin, I descend from John Lindsay Blair, born October 22, 1767, who was the brother of a Thomas Blair who married Hanna Stone.  I have never found that their mother was Jean Gamble, but you may be correct.  The problem is the dates.  Your records show their father, John Blair was born in 1780, but this is not possible if my John Lindsay Blair was born in 1767 and was his son.  I show that the brother Thomas Blair who married Hannah Stone was born in 1764 and was also married to Sarah Carnahan in 1787, after Hannah Stone died.  Any idea of how this all fits?
