I have a John Edward Blair whose Father was Charles Blair. They were from Ky. John Edward from Breckinridge Co. Charles ended up there before he was killed in Civil War. My father's family located in Breckenridge County, KY. My father was George Henry Blair (1893). His father was Martin Luther Blair. Siblings were Joseph, John, Flora, Ora, Lonnie, and Charlie. Earlier Blairs were in the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Family lore says a Blair cousin was married to the daughter of Robert E. Lee. I have not had time to do any accurate research on this but have copies of letters where this is detailed. Good luck. George L.
