He married Mary Devlin (Nov 1, 1818 Moneyglass, Antrim Ireland -Apr 3, 1910 Illiopolis, IL) on Jan 27 1843 in Ballymena Ireland at the Duneane Roman Catholic Church. They had seven children. In 1862 John (54) immigrated to America with daughter Catherine (16) on the ship R. Robinson from Liverpool landing in Glen Cove, New York.
