My paternal grandfather was John Blair, born in Upland, Dickinson Co. Kansas, his father was Robert Blair, married to Nancy Ledgerwood, his father was Samuel Blair, married to Isabella Stockman, his father was Samuel Blair, but I can find very little information on him. Some historical documents say he was from Manhatten Island. Do you have any additional information?
