Blair, 89, of Erie,PA, died, Saturday, September 10, 2011, at the Westlake Wood He was born on September 26, 1921, a son of the late David and Mary (Bartlett) Blair. Chester served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and worked at General Electric for 45 years before retiring. He was a member of the Perry-Keystone Lodge #392, F. & A. M.; the Scottish Rite, Valley of Erie; Zem Zem Shrine; also the Legion of Honor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudy (Schroeder) Blair.; a sister, Marilyn Cardamone; and a brother, William Blair. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Linhart of Erie; a son, David Blair and his wife, Pam, of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; grandchildren, Sean Linhart and his wife, Vandy, Nathan Blair and his wife, Tara, and Nicholas Blair and his friend, Melissa; great-granddaughter, Ashley Blair; step-great-grandchildren, Danny and Hannah; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Merle E. Wood Funeral Home, Inc., 215 W. 25th Street, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev! .
