Barbara was the wife of Colonel William Fullarton of Fullarton. Catherine is described in Grant's index of burials in Restalrig Churchyard as "Miss", 64 years of age and "the daughter of Alexander Blair Esquire of Port of Glasgow". Does any of this ring a bell? She was interred in "Colonel Fullarton's tomb". She does not appear to have married. Was this family related to the Blairs of Dalry? Barbara Blair from the Dalry family married the first Colonel Fullarton and his second cousin, also Colonel Fullarton, succeeded to the title. 3. I have been researching the Blair family from Lancaster County, PA. My earliest ancestor is John Blair, born 1819/1820. He married Margaret Skiles. John was MIA during the Civil War, but his military records indicate that he left to go to back to camp because he was injured, and wasn't seen again, in 1864 I believe. In the 1850 census, it has the family living in Upper Leacock Township. I've hit quite the brick wall with trying to find out who John's parents were. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Kelly
