Pleasant M. Roberson was a blacksmith by trade, and was my paternal great-great-great grandfather. (He was also the inspiration of this list! <g>) Born in White Co., Tennessee, in the year of 1823, he was the son of James and Leah Unknown. On August 28, 1841, Pleasant married Louanna/Luanna Jane Bohannon and they eventually had a total of 5 children... James Taylor Francis Marion (my GG-Grandfather) Mary Ann Elizabeth Elijah E. William P. (Louanna, James T. and wife can be seen here........ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~edgmon/pic460.htm ) Somewhere I also have a photo of what is believed to be his blacksmithing shop, but that remains to be proven. He and 2 of his sons joined the Confederacy, but only the sons would return home, Pleasant was killed March 18, 1864, in the Battle at Poison Springs, Camden, Arkansas. Take care, Diana List Admin
