In that arrangement, you do get taxed on the income from the house. I can't see being that involved in what happens after I'm gone. If there's money, I hope it does someone some good. You basically sell your house to the bank/mortages company and they pay you for the rest of you life or "$X.00 for X years." This way there is no house to squabble over.
