There was an article about the Arkansas diamond site in National Geographic. It's basically a tourist trap, but people have fun looking and hoping. They charge $5.00 a day to sift & look & dig...think that was the charge. Which tells me there isn't a lot to be found there. I can't think of the name of the place. But my mother went there once to strike it rich. I have a jar full of the 'diamonds' she found. I tell Kade it is her grandmother's diamond strike !! I have no idea if they are worth anything or not, but probably aren't. Knowing mother, if they were worth anything she would have cashed them in years ago. > >Jack Childers in OKC > >PS, I think the name of the place in Arkansas is Murphysville. > > >==== BLACKSHEEP-CHAT Mailing List ==== >Unsubscribe from the list: >Mailto:Blacksheep-Chat-L-request@rootsweb.com?subject=unsubscribe&body=unsu bscribe > >============================== >To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: >http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 >
