files appear to be missing to a program likely some setting was changed so that the main program isn't able to find the file because the program's pointer to that file was re-set. Go to the desktop. "START" "PROGRAMS" "WINDOWS EXPLORER" (NOT internet explorer) then select "my computer" as the starting point for the search. That way all partitions in a hard drive will be searched. then search for *.ftm or *.PAF or *.ged as needed. try and note the pathnames where all the files are. remember : backups zipped onto a floppy are worth hundreds of hours of typing.
