Rootsweb's decree on the discussion of the current political situation is a very rare occurance. As listmanager I have to follow the rules as set by our FREE provider, and they indicate that a listowner who doesn't comply on this one will risk removal. I am "compelled" to ban the subject of the Gulf War on all my lists. Unlike the despot on the other side of the world, I will do as requested, and comply. I would like to thank the list for keeping the subject, as we discussed it, under control, and even though we had a few rough spots, everyone seemed to take the spirit of good conversation to heart. Lets continue to discuss OTHER matters in the same spirit.
