Have heard in the past that Pat Boone was a direct decendent of Daniel Boone. If I'm not mistaken Red Foley was Pat's father-in-law. We also used to go to Blue Licks a lot with my ggrandmother that connects us to that line. It took nine generations to prove it but it is all documented with Birth, Death and marriage certificates or Bible records and document's from his pension file. I was actually looking not for the boone connection, but if the blood lines crossed and what medical traits seemed prevalent. I was lucky to find people at the historical society and well worked lines that weren't as difficult to document.
