I'm a survior of Cancer of the larnyx, which was removed Sept 4, 1996 was cancer free for 4 years and about a month and it showed back up in my lungs. And yes the liver is common place for it to show up again. Your email reminded me that I have had a catscan for that pupose and Doc poikes around in my Liver and the rest of my abdomen enery six weeks checkin for lumps and such. The type I have is uncurable, but I have been in remission for a year and about a month after about 8 months of intensive chemo therapy. And I don't intend to give up just yet, although it is very likely that it will be what fianally ends my time on this speck of dust in the universe. Your MIL must be a fighter as she has survied 13 years, so don't count her out just yet. But like every thing else one just never knows, till the time comes.
