We usually get 8 inches of rain by this time of the year and we have already had 12 inches. But othrwise our weather has been great, a beautiful fall. I still have Pansies and a couple of other flowers in bloom which is rare for the 1st of Oct in this part of Alaska. I even spread some grass seed over some fill dirt I had to add over my septic system today. But am afraid it's soon going to change as the weather man said snow above the 2,000 ft. level, so it won't be long now.., as that is getting pretty close to are 450 ft elevation and we're down to under 11 hiours of possible sunshine and losing around 7 minutes a day. i hate to see it come but that is part of what happens here, it just takes a while to get used to it. And in Jan. for my birthday I usually go to Hawaai for 2 or 3 weeks to lie on the beach and soak up some rays and then it isn't long till breakup. -- Wild Bill, North Pole, Alaska I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
