We can all use a good listener from time to time! :-) The main focus of our attention the last couple of weeks is Bobby's dad who has been diagnosed with a ruptured disc in the lumbar region of his back. The surgeon indicated that he didn't know how Dan had been able to stand the pain that he's been experiencing with the problem. Surgery is slated for a week from this Friday. The disc will be removed and hopefully he'll be good as new. The best part is that the pre-op tests have confirmed that his heart and lungs are in excellent shape and he should be good for another 100,000 miles! We also realized that the man has never had a broken bone or been hospitalized in his 78 years! Of course, all prayers and healing thoughts will still be gratefully accepted!! Best, SueB
