Evie, I hate that your friend is experiencing this also. I surely will include her in my prayers. I love the things that you said. Yes, I truly believe that peace will come, in fact I already feel a strange peace, just from having took a stand for the right. I keep telling my son and my husband that it may look like they have wo and we have lost, but if we make it out of here in one piece and under our own steam, we have really won. My friend not knowing what was going on found out the girl she was speaking with had a warrant out and she refused to intervene with the officer. the niece threatened her and tried to guilt her. She responded with ........."I am tired of my family embarrassing me and acknowledging me only when they want help. I punch a clock for a living and do so legally, had you chosen to do the same you wouldn't be in this situation ", she is now officially disowned, all members are angry with her and she is the only one who didn't commit a crime. But her point is well made. Choices. Now that they are mad, she has some peace and quiet , and she has needed that for a long time.
