Concentrate the tomato juice in the areas that seem to be affected the worst but be sure and get it over the entire dog! Something about the acidity, I guess, in the tomato juice cuts the chemical in the skunk spray. You may have to go over the poor li'l critter a couple of times but I promise this will take care of the problem. When our "Heeler", Millie, got zapped a couple of summers ago I was lucky enough to have some tomato juice on hand--thank heaven!! I followed the t.j. with a standard shampoo bath and that took care of the problem. Good luck!! Best, SueB
