Many, many of our medications made today are from plants or roots. Now female hormones are made from plants, of course they still make the old one premarin made from pregnant horse urine. It's suppose to be the closest thing to the real natural female hormones, and a fortune is paid to the suppliers. Hey Sue, that is a real productive business and I understand they pay up to $85.00 a gal for the stuff. Half of my friends nearly died one day, when a Dr. from M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston told us what premarin was made from, but I still prefer to take that hormone, instead of the other.
