Rather than protection of the list by removing ONE person, the sole disrupter, you choose to remove a group of regular posters? That reminds me too much of ethnic cleansing and gas chambers. Why is it a problem for you to have members communicate "OFF-List" on topics that you consider to be "Off-Topic" on list and you consider personal correspondence to be a violation of your rules? That borders on tyranny to eliminate members, who are adults, because you do not approve of what they do in personal correspondence that occurs "OFF-List." No one is safe from your removal unless they obey your rules in all of their correspondence both on and off list? I think not. I refuse to be intimidated by a paranoid demigod even on a genealogy list. Hitler started out that way. I'm sure you will not approve of my writing this but you sound dangerous, brother, dangerous and those who do not stand up to you now will be slaughtered when their sins of thinking for themselves are discovered.
