Found a second cousin late last year; she was a retired teacher living about a seven hour drive north of me. Exchanged by mail some information, but she said she was ill. Another cousin went to visit, and just informed me that she was now on a morphine drip and in the "home stretch" . Strange how if i hadn't found her, learning about the death afterwards would not have affected me.
funny how that connection just reaches up and snatches you. i think we all have a sense of kinship, even with those we do not know of yet...........i don't know if it is genetic memory or what.........but it is there none the less. i am sorry to hear that..............another reminder that we are not islands. evie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave" <dave.tompsett@sympatico.ca> To: <BLACKSHEEP-CHAT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 14, 2003 10:19 PM Subject: [BSChat] sometimes the hunt causes grief > Found a second cousin late last year; she was a retired teacher living > about a seven hour drive north of me.
