I'm still here, just have been busy mowing my lawn. One thing I've learned is that with almost 24 hours of sunshine grass grows pretty fast here. How about mowing every 3 days, or at the least every five days. And at times it makes me wonder why I spread grass seed over almost and acre of ground. <GRIN> Don't get me wrong I do love being out doors as much as possible, I also have hundreds of flowers to tend to. Must be because of the longgggg cold winters when it's to cold to go out for any length of time. <GRIN> Hummingbirdsings wrote: > Well I am here. Just got home from helping my daughter. I am convinced that lawns are evil. They are a trick of the Dark Side to make us all conform to the status quo. I would much rather have moss than grass. Much softer and far less work. When I buy a house I will tear up the lawn and put in a water garden. Or maybe just a pool. Anyone know someone who builds moats...? Calvin B. Littlefield, IBSSG "You're playing with my mind!"
