    3. I dunno! :-) She wouldn't have been one of David & Etta's children....Their oldest children were girls.....no boys named Joe, unless that was a nickname? Their first son was born in 1908, so he could've had a child around 1927, but he appears with his parents in the 1930 census as "single." Could be cousins, tho! Am expecting father David Wilson's birth record late this week (Lapeer Co. assures me they send stuff out the day they receive the request & payment, and they should've had that on Monday), and then at least I'll know his parents' names. Once I know that info, I'll be searching other census records to try to trace David's path from Lapeer to Pontiac. With luck, I'll find his siblings' names in the census records and might have better notes to compare with you. I do know that David had siblings named Elmer and Myrtle...at least, I THINK he had those two siblings. I couldn't even tell you at this point where I got that info. Got it so long ago, and I wasn't very good at noting my sources "in the early days." I'd imagine he had more siblings than that, because a family of 3 children in the mid-late 1800's seems kind of small. I'll let you know if I happen upon anything interesting! I think she was born in Pontiac c. 1927 or so; married my cousin Joe Wilson around 1944 or so (no relation as his is a southern line). Seems like Charlotte's mother was buried in Voorhees Cemetery there in Pontiac. Anyway, Joe & Charlotte named their youngest son David and their oldest son was Joe for his dad and paternal grandfather. Daughter's name is Cecilia for step-grandfather, Cecil. Think the David name is a coincidence?? > Best, > SueB > http://www.cdbaby.com/suegilmore >
