Jack, she's just trying to keep herself from getting hurt by her again. Some people bring more pain than good with them. Not hearing from her again would probably keep the pain away. Well, not all of it... She'll probably feel like my husband does about his mom. Says that when she dies, he doesn't know if he'll be sad or not. I think he will, if only for the way he wishes things could have been, instead of the way she was. It made it almost impossible to type, shave, pick anything up, or even turn the key in my car ignition. I would try to do something and the pain would be so bad it would make me cry. Finally got to see my doctor last night (his office is only open from 5 pm to 8 pm) and he prescribed Feldene. After two pills the pain is gone. I can still feel a certain tightness in the movement of my wrist, but the searing pain is gone. I have had a touch of arthritis all of my life but never that painful. On another front, still aches and pains, Kade's mama is flying to Florida today. She says is only going for a visit, but neither I nor Kade believe that. She has packed all her favorite things and gave the rest away, cut all ties to people she knows, said her permanent goodbye to friends, etc, so it sounds to me like she is going to get down there and stay . She has done me so many bad turns I won't miss her, but for what she will be doing to Kade I will never forgive her. Kade told her goodbye last night and this morning Kade won't even go say goodbye again, said she done said her goodbye. Kade hasn't said much about it except that if her mama doesn't come back she never wants to hear from her again. That's such a hard stance for a little girl to take. Too bad the mama didn't leave years ago before Kade got to know her.
