I first heard of that no charge in 72 hours when a neighbor of mine here in OKC was arrested. He is a handy man, yard person. I think they originally pulled him over for suspicion of drunk driving, but that wouldn't have panned out because I don't think he drinks at all. But they put him in jail for 72 hours, impounded his truck, left the windows open and it rained all inside his truck. I was amazed they could put someone in jail for three days and then just turn them loose with no explanation, no apology, nothing, so I called an attorney and he educated me on the subject. And, I don't remember the exact date, but I really believe my neighbor was put in jail before 9-11. Jack Childers in OKC
