    3. I never saw a large black Beetle, 2" long, except in Arizona during the rainy season...drove over a million of them. I didn't see one in Thailand. We had Cobra snakes, Pit Vipers, a jillion mesquitos, rats, guekos, huge ants, termites, and fish that walked on the front lawn... BUT, I never saw a large black beetle. You must have been up-country somewhere, like in Korat or Nakam Phenom? (sp?) I know, "Nit Noy" means a "little bit." We lived in Bangkok from 1967-1970...with a yearly R&R to the States. I raised my (3) kids in Guam & Thailand...when they were little. Son Kyle was born on Guam at the Naval Hospital. Don't know about you, but I loved Thailand..
