You would be amazed what can happen in a hospital. I had my Gallbladder removed at age 30 and I'm a definite female. One day, when my doctor had assured me there would be no lab work that day, a Lab Tech came in to draw blood. I started questioning him about it, as I I got more upset by the minute, needles terrify me. He answered as he looked for an "artery" to draw from. He was just going to try a questionable place when my doctor walked in and asked what was going on. It turned out that three doors down the hall, there was a male patient, initial "A," last name MORRISON, mid 50s, who had a heart attack. This lab Tech had the wrong patient. He didn't have the imagination to believe that there could be two patients on the same floor with the same looking name, one female, one male. He really got chewed on for not checking my wrist band with his paperwork.
