Linda and Sheepers, It's wonderful to tell the caretaker to understand and continue to love and respect the afflicted. Advising the caretaker to have patience and not to get angry..... Pardon me, but NUTS! More important, the caretaker has to have understanding and patience with himself/herself. Anger is normal. Resentment is normal. Self-pity is normal. Those are the demons I battle every day. We have to take care of ourselves before we are worth a tinker's damn to anyone else. Alzheimer's is a family affair, and it gets pretty grim. Sharon IBSSG
