That isn't the INTENT of the law, but it is how it is interpreted by th police departments, who were forced to do this, but not funded to do it. Some "civil rights" groups are trying (sometimes successfully) to block puvblishing of the whole list, it was PULLED from the internet in California, which is the State where Megan was abducted. (Where were these lawyers when the victim's rights were violated?) Check on the internet for "Megan's Law" and see what is happening nationally. Jeffery G.
