You know, Jan G., you are so right. When my own mother died I was greatly sad, not especially about her dying, but over what could have been between us and never was. I wasn't done knowing my mother and there she died on me ! Yes, I realize Kade has erected a defense mechanism about her mama and there is really nothing I can do about it except be there for her. I worked so hard to try and make a family for Kade's sake, putting up with everything from fit throwing to attempted murder on her part, and it was all for nothing. Hindsight would have me ship mama off the day Kade was born, but that's hindsight. Oh well, we go on. Jack Childers in OKC
