In 1960 I live in the Los Angeles metro area in one place or another. I was an assistant manager of a Bond's Clothing Store on Wilshire Blvd. I had a collection of medieval weapons hanging on my apartment wall. I had thrown a Christmas party for some social friends and they all got drunk and a fight broke out and one of them tried to bash the brains out of another one with the mace. The police came and hauled them all off, except for me because I was the only person there not drunk (I have never drank). I was lucky they didn't take me too because they could have charged me with any number of things. These people at the party were all professional people, doctors, lawyers, etc, and I was so disappointed in their behavior that I quit associating with those types of people. In fact, I was so gun shy over the behavior of other people that I almost became a hermit, would not associate with anyone. I quit my job and moved to Chicago where I managed a hotel called The Sheldrake . Jack Childers in OKC
