Jeff, he was out of their lives, but the kids missed him, on the basis that they were so young they did not remember him! I have explained the situationto the kids, they have to make their own choices, as for the paternity tests he has to pay, and then have egg on his face! so then all his other "stories" come into question. The one that "goes away" is always the kids want, even when they say they don't (usually to please an adult) whatever he does he IS their dad, beginning to wish I could forge the paternity tests!
