In today's newspaper the following was reported.... Governor To Study Castration Bill .......governor will study very closely the language in a bill that would allow chemical and surgical castration of criminals convicted of sex crimes.....the permanence of castration in light of the Jeffrey Todd Pierce case (wrongful conviction) is obviously an issue.......the measure permits judges to order chemical castration for people convicted of committing first or second degree rape and forcible sodomy.
