If you think her suicide attempt was amazing, in today's newspaper there is a story about a woman in Florida who tried suicide by jumping out of a 14 story window. She landed on top of a car flat on her butt and lived ! Not only lived, but was up and walking around, with a broken arm, within minutes by the time the police and medics got there.
