Yes, I know what you mean. I think Tammy Whine-ette was the height of that trait. There was a study done about 20 years ago by some scientific types. They concluded that CW leads to drinking and drunkenness, because of it's depressive aspects. I do know that the CW has gotten closer to pop music, ever since Kenny Rogers came along in the 70's, but even "(You picked a fine time to leave me,)Lucille" was a *great* drinking song.
