But I come from a family of independent thinkers and if anyone of us know we are speaking the truth, being called a liar wouldn't stop us. Especially as adults. We don't fear being ostracized or shunned or ridiculed because it doesn't happen, no matter what our differences. Nor is anyone called a liar. If that is truly the case in your family, then I truly feel sorry for you. And even more sorry that the same family that ostracizes and ridicules those who speak the truth still accept and, evidently, respect the pervert. Looks to me like there's some more overall, big, enveloping problems going on. It's a pitiful situation that you've described. I hope the Lord does indeed work it out.
