Some time ago our daughter and her three children were living with us.....and we kept the children while she (dau) worked.... One afternoon our grandson (age 6 at the time) was playing out in the front yard when a van stopped by the curb---the driver said, "Your mother sent me to pick you up and bring you to meet her at the mall." So Timmy (grson) said, "O K, but I have to go tell my grandpa." and he turned to run to the carport where Bob was working. As soon as he turned, the van drove off.....so we called the police and they got a fairly good description of the van, but never caught the fellow. Timmy told the police that he knew he didn't dare leave the yard without asking his grandpa because he'd already gotten in big trouble once before when he went off without permission.
