    3. Thanks, Jeff, for your kindness. About being the family "mule" - sometimes there is only one other alternative - putting the afflicted member in some kind of nursing home. Some families are large enough and caring enough so that many can help. With very small families, like mine, that is not the case. I am IT. I have been it for the last ten years. Life is like that, sometimes.
