Once upon a time, back when I was younger and more naive (if possible), I had foolishly made the statement that if a person had a son and a daughter and they were raised exactly the same in every way, the children would turn out very similarly; that, other than the obvious physiological differences there should be no other differences between the two if raised identically. Uh huh. Right! Then, my son joined his older sister and, boy! Did I ever back up on that ridiculous line of thinking!!! Carrying this another step further, I am just amazed at the personality differences in this new colt (male) as compared to his full older sister of last spring! He's only 4 days old today and already so much more bold and aggressive and, well, just more boy! The funniest thing is that his mother treats him differently than she did with Cybil too. I'm really astounded at so much difference and at such a young age and now guess that some things never change no matter what the species. Let's hear it for that testosterone and the Y chromosome! ;-) Eh, well..... *shrug* Best, SueB
