<<It is not my position on this earth to cause those friends and family members sorrow for the passing of their despicable loved one.>> Don't you think their heartbreak started with the crimes, not the punishment--if they have more conscience than their despicables? Are we, as a society or individuals, responsible for the poor choices made by those who decide to waste their emotions on murderers and rapists and child molesters? And are their misguided emotions supposed to be more important to our judges and juries than what is best for the rest of us who are stuck with the bill for keeping those dispicables alive? Perhaps those misguided ones would like to pay the bill for keeping the dispicables alive for an unknown number of years. I wonder if they're willing to invest their retirement money or their kids' education money in those dispicables. As it is, we all share that bill. And the money that goes there is money not spent on something else more worthwhile than dispicables who didn't care who they hurt--victims or relatives or misguided friends alike. And therein, Jeff, lies the reason I switched up on my ideals of killing people. It is not my position on this earth to cause those friends and family members sorrow for the passing of their despicable loved one.
