One can't live in this time without knowing the words.... but I have enough shortcomings....don't need more. I really don't often use "blue" language in private, and I'd say "never" in public....(I try not to use "never" or "always" either)....sometimes I get strange smirks from people when I say "O Rats!!!" , but I also get "nicer" language used around me if I set the pace.... When I was very young I would experiment with words and always got the looks and raised eyebrows....then later was told I was behaving in "an unacceptable manner" <ugh!> I just got used to trying to keep my speech clean....then when I married and started raising children I was adamant about it---and I wouldn't even allow people to use "baby talk" around my kids....it was right or not at all...... Sometimes he will once in a while now but not in our home. It isn't necessaary to use bad/vulger words and terms so why do it.
