Yes, the Moxley case will be interesting. Skakel isn't quite a Kennedy and he's not a very sympathic figure. The case is looking pretty bad for him. I'm digusted by the molestations. The accusations are just the truth coming out, ugly as it is, and it's a part of the "clean up". It would go on indefinitely without the public becoming aware of the situation. No doubt there'll be some small percentage of false accusations, and I hope those are laid to rest quickly, but for the most part, I'm hoping the accusations, criminal and civil proceedings will lead to some changes that will protect the kids. I'm sure the church is concerned--they have trouble keeping priests as it it, I think. And who knows how large a percentage of them this could eventually affect. But, the only right thing to do, for the church to keep their credibility, it do get rid of the men who are committing these crimes and turn them over to the police. I wonder if maybe we'd have fewer problems getting really "good" men into the priesthood if the others were not allowed to remain???
