A little research led me to the discovery that the house that had sat on the site burned to the ground with an old woman in it. The new house was built on the propertysome years later. I guess the old woman was a fan of country-western music... A buddy and I once were out on his porch with binoculars and got freaked out about a light on the horizon we were sure was some strange aircraft...until Venus got a little higher in the sky...
