I have not run across the dual year out side 1 January through 25 March of any year during the time they were used. I'm wondering if the groups who were using them as such were doing so not knowing when to use them or had developed their own rules concerning this. I've runinto them in the autumn, too, though having carefully read six versions (inlcuding the one you sent me and one in the library) I can't see what would be the reason for it. Last night I was mysteriously having trouble finding them at all! I might have to have my program create a listing with birth dates. I had wanted to create a small GEDCOM to send to people who have Ancestral Quest and Legacy to import and then export back to me to see what happened to the dates.
