I personally have no experience with ghosts, but my grandmother, daughter of my black sheep, said she remembered her aunt & uncle's farmhouse had a door between the kitchen and parlor. The door would close itself when no one was around. If someone were in either room, it would remain open. The strangest part, though, is that it would also lock itself. Figure THAT one out, with those old skeleton keys. My father, though, had the most bizarre experience of anyone I know (except those Ouija stories conjured by college friends). Back when I was about 13, my parents started looking for a bigger house (5 kids, 3 bedrooms wasn't cutting it). The realtor took them to a very nice house in a semi-rural area (close neighbors but no curb & gutter, 50 mph roads). Mom REALLY liked the house, but part way through Dad told her & the realtor that he had to get outside. Mom & the realtor finished looking thru the house, and Dad said that when he was in the hallway to the bedrooms & bath he had the strangest sensation come over him, a choking, suffocating feeling. He felt the that he just had to get out of the house, and once in the yard he felt fine. But he broke out in a sweat and grew goosebumps when he started walking toward the house again, so he waited outside. The realtor told my folks that the owners' teenage son had committed suicide in his bedroom, thus the reason for wanting to sell. He also said that other clients he had brought thru had the same reaction--wife likes the house, husband feels as though he's being suffocated. Sounds to me like the son was still there, and didn't want his parents to leave. Sue G. IBSSG
My astrology teacher told us that ouigi boards are very dangerous because all sorts of influences take advantage of the chance to get through. It isn't the first I heard of it, I once had a house mate insist she knew of a demon becoming active that way. I don't disbelieve in psychic phenomena, people, I just think it's healthy to have a healthy respect about when to talk about what, particularly when it involves other people, which is when people most often discuss psychic phenomena. I remember one yard sale that my ex and I stopped at. Well, it was kind of a yard and house sale and, looking back on it, I now have the feeling that it may have been an estate sale. It was one of those old MI farm houses and this one hadn't been painted in forever. Actually, I don't even remember any indication that this house had ever had a dab of paint on it, though over all, it wasn't in bad shape. Anyway, the house itself was also open with books and other goodies for sale within. Normally, I just love going through these old buildings and am a big fan of the older homes. Not this one! I was inside looking at some of the books offered for sale for about 30 seconds when I had this very strong feeling of unease and an overwhelming urge just to get gone!! So I did! Best, SueB
