    3. I have the new version. Problem isn't how the dates are set in PAF nor how PAF is exporting the dates. Actually, the dates are exactly the way I want them. I am typing them in the way they appear in mnost sources and most published local records; 3 Mar 1636/1637. Apparently it is correct to put 1636-37 but that doesn't distinguish them from an uncertain date. I write them as Puritan dates to identify them as such. If I'm not sure about a date I say so. If I have several dates I put them, to let people know there is a range of dates that may be correct. The inability of FTM to deal with the 17th century dates is particularly idiotic.
