    3. The family jewerly has been handed down to the oldest daughter. My mom got her mother's (of course she gave her sister whatever she wanted) and it will come to me along with her jewerly. My jewerly along with whatever is left to me will go to my daughter. Mom only had one daughter, I have one daughter and my daughter has only one daughter. The rest are sons and they don't want it, whatever their wives want we will share. But it is to stay in the family. There are some very nice pieces and some junk, but we love it all. When the grand-chnildren visit the grand-daughters take out the big jewerly box and take out the pieces and look at it all. The grand-sons listen and look, but try to act like they are not paying any attention. Then my daughter or son will tell them what belonged to who, how they got the piece, (most of the time it is funny) and show a picture of the person wearing the jewerly. That way the family history is preserved, not by the jewerly but by the telling of it. Even if all the jewerly disappeared the telling would still be there, it would just be with pictures.
